Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PredictionTax ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PredictionTax is a web-based tool that helps prediction market traders calculate profit & loss, compare tax treatment methods, and generate tax form documents. The Service is provided "as is" for informational purposes only.

3. Not Tax Advice

PredictionTax does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. The calculations, comparisons, and generated forms are estimates based on the data you provide and general tax rules. Tax treatment of prediction market income is an evolving area of law. You should consult a qualified tax professional (CPA, enrolled agent, or tax attorney) before making any tax filing decisions.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for accuracy, PredictionTax makes no guarantees about the correctness of any calculations, tax estimates, or generated forms. You are solely responsible for verifying all information before filing with the IRS or any tax authority.

5. Data & Privacy

PredictionTax processes your data entirely in your browser. We do not store your trade data, API credentials, or personal information on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Payment & Refunds

Certain features (PDF form generation) require a one-time payment processed through Stripe. All sales are final. If you experience a technical issue that prevents download of your purchased forms, contact us for assistance.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PredictionTax and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, tax penalties, interest, or audit costs arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Contact
